Beatport Release

June 11th, 2012 | By

Because Invisible Signs took first at the TestPress competition, it will be featured along with the 2nd-5th place winners on an album through Epiphyte Records. It will be exclusively availiable on Beatport (for all you dance music enthusiasts). Not sure when it’s dropping yet.

In other news, there are a lot of behind-the-scenes things at work right now. I scored the music to a very cool video game that will be released soon. I’ll post more about it next week.

All other news is extremely classified and I’ve sworn an oath of secrecy. I could potentially be sued or even slain for publishing anything about it yet. More to come . . .

I don’t think I’ve ever consciously thought about the number 1,005 before. However, 1,005  has now become a dear friend of mine. It is the number of views that Invisible Signs has had since last month. I’m stoked!  I hope that one day I will be introduced to the number 1,000,005 and we can become friends, too.

Double U

Thanks to those who came to my performance last night! It was an awesome venue.

Also, I’m happy to say that Invisible Signs got a big fat “W” at TestPress! I’m super honored. There were actually a LOT of really solid artists with great songs who submitted. The panel of judges were funny and cool. Congrats to everyone who was a part of it!

Performance Tonight

May 17th, 2012 | By

I’ll be doing a live set tonight in San Francisco at 832 Folsom st. The event is called TestPress and it’s an electronic music competition where there’s a panel of judges and an audience that listen to 16 tracks submitted by different artists around the world. Everyone votes and judges which tracks they think are the best.

To my knowledge, I’m the first artist to ever perform at this event, which is kinda cool.

Show starts at 7:00. Get out and show some love!

Six Demon Bag

April 24th, 2012 | By

So, what is a Six Demon Bag? Many a sage has pondered this question.

Truth is, I have no freaking clue. In Big Trouble In Little China, Egg Shen just says it’s a bag that holds “wind, fire, all that kind of thing.”

Recently, I’ve been thinking a lot about this. The other day I was messing around, trying to create some new sounds and I ended up writing this little phrase.

Over 500 Views Baby!

April 19th, 2012 | By

Okay, so I know 500 views doesn’t seem like a lot in the vast world of Youtube, but, for a little ol’ artist like me, I’m happy to take it! Especially since Youtube just reported that about a gazillion new videos are uploaded every nano second.

Thanks for the love!!

The Athlete Vs The Artist

April 11th, 2012 | By

I don’t know one friggin’ thing about professional sports and I really don’t care. However, I have sat in about a bazillion sales trainings where we’ve done nothing but watch video compilations of Michael Jordan and Lance Armstrong with the hopes that we’ll get motivated.

The funny thing is . . . it actually works!

There’s just something about watching great athletes that makes me want to go out and work like a Puritan! Athletes rock when it comes to hard work, dedication and discipline. For some reason, great artists don’t really inspire these qualities as much. (more…)

Just uploaded this bad boy. It’s best to watch in HD with a buttery bag of popcorn . . .in surround sound . . . with 3d glasses on.

New Music Video and Book Feature.

March 29th, 2012 | By

Macprovideo is just so freakin cool! I got notified today that they’ve just released a book that I was featured in. It’s a very slick guide on how to remix. Anyone who’s interested in production should take a looksy. (more…)

Linescratchers Interview

November 28th, 2011 | By

I came across this website fairly recently. It is a very cool niche website about musicians. I was fortunate enough to score an interview.
